| After disastrous experiences with two other companies, Synergy Solar delivered a great battery storage system to go with our solar panels. They even hooked up our generator so it could charge the battery if it got too low during a power outage. They were prompt, very professional, and took a great deal of care in getting everything right. They helped me with the software that monitors the system, and now we're confident we can survive future power outages. They will be there promptly should the need arise, but in the meantime we're enjoying the peace of mind the system brings. |

| This from a former building contractor who never gives reviews -- Synergy is a first-rate operation. Mike, the owner, has tested every configuration he has been selling by first installing it in his own house. They feature an integrated system that was developed by a Petaluma company. They only install systems in Sonoma County, allowing Synergy to maintain great customer service. Our system (30 panels and 4 10kWh batteries was installed over about 7 days during the cold and rain of January 2023. We were educated about what the heck we were getting. They were always on time. They liked out dog. We passed all inspections the first time through. What else? Was it expensive? Yes, but so are eggs these days. Was it worth it? Definitely. Thanks again to Mike and his team. |

| We installed solar back in 2017 with Synergy and couldn't be happier with them. COVID hit and I started working from home. When True-Up time came we were hit with a very high bill. Contacted Jeff and we figured out my working from home impacted the bill. Then comes Mike, so helpful in working up a plan for additional panels and educates us on the battery back-up, and extremely patient with my seven hundred questions. Nicole kept us inform as to where we were in the process, AND following up to make sure all paperwork was signed and submitted in a timely manner. Installation time....here comes Peter, Mateo and Andrew. Wonderful crew, polite, professional, and they had a great sense of humor. Peter knows his stuff and was extremely patient in listening and answering multiple questions asked multiple times. Looking forward to when we move over to the battery, which should be soon. Synergy Solar exceeded all expectations. They guided us through each step of the process, provided realistic time frames for completion, and were always prompt in answering questions and addressing concerns. I called Synergy after having some disappointing initial contacts with the big national firms (you know who they are). Part of my due diligence before selecting a solar provider involved a customer satisfaction search; Google "customer reviews for _________" (plug in a name). See if there any common threads that form the bulk of the complaint issues. Try not to confuse "PRICE" with "VALUE". If you value competence, professionalism, timely responses to your questions/concerns and a job done right, interview Synergy Solar. Don't forget, the real work starts after the national company's salesperson has moved on to the next potential buyer. Read those reviews, then decide. Synergy Solar is a great local company (Sebastopol) with a proven track record. We couldn't be more pleased.

When the Sonoma county inspector came out to sign off the install he told me that Synergy always did the best job of any company that he had inspected. That is from someone who see the work that all the installer do. I would not hire anyone else to install solar. |

They are incredibly helpful and responsive during the process and do as much as they can to drive the process with PG&E, SGIP and local officials. Our whole experience with Synergy Solar was wonderful, from the very first phone call to the installation and follow-up waiting for PG&E to give permission to turn on (which was quick). Jeff and Mike listened carefully, explained well, and designed a system just right for us. The install team was friendly, neat, and excellent in explaining both the installation process and how to operate the system. As an avid DIY'er, I found their attention to detail matched my own.

We immediately liked his knowledge & professionalism. He was the only one who actually got on our roof with his testing equipment. SCEIP then helped us with a true apples-to-apples comparison of the 3 bids. We chose Synergy. Michael & team did an exceptional job installing the system as scheduled. Our inspector said he enjoys seeing Synergy on his schedule because they do a good job. We've been up and running for about 2 weeks, and today they installed our EV charging station. Their entire team is wonderful and take pride in what they do. |

Simply stated, Synergy Solar = the BEST!
I needed a solar installer I could trust to, not only do a clean job on my 30-year old concrete tile roof, but an installer that would be around after the job was done. I wanted the installer to use American Made products - Synergy Solar installed American Made panels (Solar World/Oregon), and inverters (Enphase/Petaluma). And I wanted the system to look good - clean - it does.
Jeff laid out options for financing in a matter-of-fact, clearly understandable manner; I hear he saves his hustle for the volleyball court.
When Mike's installers arrived, as scheduled, they set up a professional (good housekeeping seal of approval) work space in our tightly spaced residential HOA and went to work without disturbing my wife's home business, or my neighbors - I know, I asked around.
Since activated, the system has performed as designed, producing the net-negative system I requested. Jeff also advised me on how to set up my EV for automatic off-peak charging - good call, big savings.
If I had to do this over again I would go Synergy Solar without hesitation. Synergy Solar, the BEST! |

From start to finish they were professional and top notch in every way. In fact, they have educated us so well that when we drive down the street we can pick out solar installations where the contractor has cut corners, or used inferior materials. They even were able to coordinate with P.G.E. and complete our needed electrical panel upgrade when we ran into some snags with our electrician. We spent a fair amount of time researching solar energy and quite a few solar companies. We used Solar Sonoma Co Clean Energy Advocate program. Geoff at SSCEA was supportive and helpful. Based on our needs he gave us three local vendors who used local and US made products to choose from We ended up narrowing it down to two local solar companies. Both were very helpful with answering all of my questions. When it came down to it, we chose a company that made themselves accessible and honest. In the end we went with Synergy.
Not only is Jeff incredibly knowledgeable, about all things Solar, he is the owner, not a Sales Person working on commission. Furthermore Jeff is highly involved with solar energy in both the county and the state. We liked their methodology and product set they used.
Mike is the other owner and in charge of the installation process itself. He too is knowledgeable, professional, EXTREMELY responsive!
In addition, they were willing to work with us to get the best layout of the solar panels as well as the power panel change we needed. Chaz and Michael did a professional install which was clean and the panel placement on our roof was not tacky looking at all! Furthermore the work they did with the electric panel replacement was TOP NOTCH.
During the install they were not intrusive to our family and kept us informed from start to finish!
Without a doubt, I would recommend Synergy to anyone thinking about solar. |

We just had our solar installation completed by Synergy.
We initially had them out for a quote a year ago but they discovered some roof issues that first needed to be fixed. Jeff from Synergy suggested a roofer who did a fantastic job on the roof.
So this year, we went ahead with solar. Jeff and Mike really are experts and made us very comfortable with the technology. Their proposal scoped out exactly what we would need and they explained everything very clearly and even came out a second time to clarify things. Jeff told us it would take at least a month to get us installed but they got the panels fast and were able to squeeze us in to their schedule within a couple of weeks.
They did a seamless job with the installation. The panels looks great and they did a good job cleaning up things.
One really cool thing is the system connects via wi-fi with a website that shows how much is produced real-time. Amazing how much is produced in mid-October when the sun is already low. Even cooler is that our panels will cover our entire electric bill for the year and that we are helping the environment. |

From the first meeting with Jeff we were very pleased with his review of solar systems in general, what we could expect from them and what we could expect from a solar system on our home and how we would interface with PG&E. The information was accurate, easy to understand and made me feel easy with the choice to go solar. Jeff was also the only person to do a technical and thorough evaluation of our roof and sun exposure during the initial visit to ensure that his first and only proposal was as accurate as possible with no conjecture, guessing or best case scenarios. Jeff made the decision to go with them easy to make.
The installation experience was just as good as the site visit and proposal. Mike and his installation crew including Chaz were great to work with at our house. They were on time, clean, quiet and accommodating. They had our system up and running in two days and it was as advertised with no issues. The work was clean and you can't even tell that solar was installed on our house by looking at it from the front. Mike even stayed at our house longer than needed to help with an electrical issue in our house. That's customer service! | Synergy installed my system in 2011 and I have since produced just under 30MWh. Unfortunately a roof leak developed under one of the roof mounts (which I've since learned is extremely rare). The leak was due to some built up redwood debris on my roof. I called Jeff - Mike showed up the next day with an evaluation, then scheduled a repair that same week. The repair required some sheet rock work as well, which Mike quickly dispatched. I came home and everything was done and the leak is long gone. It was that easy - I wish more companies would support their work this well! |

The entire experience with Synergy Solar was excellent. Our metal roof and new deck cover was not the usual solar installation. Jeff worked through the planning with us to get the design we envisioned. He made sure that the arrangements with the metal roofing company were coordinated and came off well. Mike and his team did a fine job installing the panels, even taking special consideration for cable routing underneath visible deck cover panels. The guys from Synergy did a fantastic job during every aspect of the project. Their attention to detail was far more than I had expected and the quality and appearance of the solar display, racking and the mounting of the inverters and meter couldn't be better. | I investigated loal companies and asked for several quotes. I chose Synergy because their representative, Jeff Mathias, was non-intrusive )no car salesman) and knowledgeable as well as competitive. Jeff advised upgrading the breaker box and pointed out a few other technical issues. Also included was a connection to a solar water heater installed at the same time. Synergy always stayed in contact by phone or email and confirmed all work executed on my property. It there was a open question, Jeff handled all that with a call or email in no time - the communication was great. The Synergy crew came in and had the installation done in a day. The entire installation was executed as expected and on time. All garbage was cleaned up and the quality of the installation was great. All in all, I have to say it was a great experience to work with Synergy, and I would work with them anytime again.
